Reid Park Zoo Offers Military Discount on Memorial Day
On Monday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Reid Park Zoo will welcome military veterans and their families, active military personnel and their families, and families of deployed military personnel into the Zoo with special discount admission.
- Active military members and veterans receive FREE admission (with valid ID)
- Dependents pay $5 admission (maximum of 6)
- No reservations required – Admission will be processed in person
- Valid on Monday, May 31, 2021
The Zoo, located at 3400 Zoo Court in Tucson, invites military personnel and their families to enjoy a memorable day visiting with the animals, including the new African wild dogs with their energetic maneuvers, the Zoo’s troop of tiny monkeys and its stars in stripes, its pair of Grevy’s zebras. They can also visit poolside with the Zoo’s colorful flock of Chilean flamingos in the Zoo’s new and spacious Flamingo Lagoon.
To receive free admission on Memorial Day, guests must show a military or veteran organization ID discharge papers or other official military identification; families of deployed military personnel must show an active duty ID. Visit the Reid Park Zoo website for more details.
Admission to the Zoo is regularly $10.50 for adults ages 15-61, $8.50 for seniors ages 62+, $6.50 for children ages 2-14 and free for children under 2. Zoo Members receive free admission. Reid Park Zoo also offers a discount of 20% off a one-year annual membership to active duty or retired military personnel.
To take advantage of the membership offer, join or renew at the front gate and present valid I.D. for active or retired military or call the Zoo’s Membership office at 520-881-4753 and provide a scan of a valid ID. Military discount cannot be combined with any other offer or discount or promotions, including weekend specials if offered.
