Reid Park Zoological Society is pleased to offer this membership program to help people who could not otherwise visit the Zoo learn about wildlife conservation and animals. Southern Arizona non-profit organizations may apply for a Community Membership to be used for their clientele.
To apply, fill out the downloadable application. Each application will be reviewed and only approved if criteria are met. If approved, a $25 processing fee is required for a membership package to be sent with a membership card (1) that will admit up to 3 staff members and 10 clients per visit. Each additional card is $75. All Community Memberships start on July 1 and end on June 30. Therefore, depending on the date of submission, your membership may be less than 1 year. Renewal notices are emailed in May. Reid Park Zoological Society reserves the right to rescind memberships at any time.
Community Memberships are provided to non-profit agencies meeting RPZS criteria. Eligible providers offer direct services to low-income and underserved clients and include organizations providing services such as:
- Child and family services
- Mental health programs
- Programs for homeless clients
Organizations must be designated as 501(c)(3) by the IRS. A letter indicating nonprofit status by the IRS must accompany this application. Reid Park Zoological Society reserves the right to determine eligibility for membership. The memberships are not for personal use by non-profit employees, board members or volunteers
*Public and private schools, summer camps, and after-school programs are not eligible to receive Community Memberships.
