The Zoo may be closed to the public for the time being, but we’re hard at work transforming the way we’re able to welcome you to the Zoo. The Welcome Plaza of the Zoo (which includes the entryway, the courtyard between the Zoo’s cafe and gift shop, and upcoming flamingo habitat) is under construction! When the project is complete this Fall, your entry to the Zoo will have more shade, beautiful trees, and majestic flamingos than ever before!

Thank you to our incredible community of Tucson voters and individual donors for helping us build a world-class Zoo that will bring enhanced opportunities for our community’s children and adults to connect with amazing wild animals and wild places.
