Reid Park Zoo Closed Monday for Water Line Repair

Reid Park Zoo will be closed on Monday, August 26 while repairs are made on a water line on Lakeshore Lane.

Reid Park Zoo and surrounding Park facilities will be without water for 4 to 8 hours while the repairs are underway. As a result, the Zoo is closing for the day and will reopen Tuesday, August 27 at 8 a.m.

The Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center and Therapeutic Recreation Center will also be closed on Monday. Tucson Parks and Recreation administration and Registration Services will remain open during this time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Reid Park Zoo has an extensive contingency plan for and has already acquired the necessary water reserves to care for the animals during this water outage.
