Pollinator Week

What do bees and lemurs have in common? They are both pollinators!
This week is pollinator week, and we’re celebrating by highlighting the largest pollinating species on the planet, the black-and-white ruffed lemur! These lemurs eat plant materials like fruits, leaves, and nectar. Pollen sticks to their snouts when they consume nectar from a flower which then pollinates the next flower they feed from!
