Flamingo roundup

The Zoo’s 11 Chilean flamingos were briefly corralled last week for routine medical procedures including weight checks, blood draws, and West Nile virus inoculations. Keepers assisted veterinarian staff by gently holding the birds during their checkups. Come visit the healthy and beautiful flamingos at the Zoo! They are on exhibit each day from 9am to 4pm.
