Trunks up to You: Honoring Those Who Served

 As a special thank you to those who have served and those who support them, Reid Park Zoo is offering a special Veteran’s Day military discount. On November 11, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Zoo will offer free daytime admission for active duty, reserve and guard, veterans and retirees of the military (with military, VA or retiree ID), and discounted admission of $5 each for up to six family members. The discount is available at the gate only; military member does not need to be present for family member discount. 

• 10 -10:45 a.m. Feed a giraffe for $3 at our Giraffe Encounter!
• 10:30 a.m. Keeper Chat – check sign in Entry Plaza for location
•  11 a.m. Meet an Animal Ambassador in the Conservation Learning Center (subject to animal needs)
• Noon – 12:30 p.m. Feed a giraffe for $3 at our final Giraffe Encounter for the day.
• 1 p.m. Keeper Chat – check sign in Entry Plaza for location
• Enjoy the new Angel Charity for Children World of Play all day! 

Make the most of your Military Discount with an Annual Zoo Membership! 

Reid Park Zoo offers a discount of 20% off a one-year annual membership to active duty or retired military personnel. To take advantage of the membership offer, join or renew at the front gate and present a valid I.D. for active or retired military or call the Zoo’s Membership office at 520-881-4753 and provide a scan of a valid ID. Military discount cannot be combined with any other offer or discount or promotions, including weekend specials, if offered.  

Admission to the Zoo is regularly $10.50 for adults ages 15-61, $8.50 for seniors ages 62+, $6.50 for children ages 2-14 and free for children ages 2 and under. Zoo Members receive free admission.
