United we can make a difference!

While you enjoy the Zoo just a little while longer next week visit on Saturday, March 18 from 4 – 6 p.m. and join us for SAFE Night. The Tucson Audubon Society, the University of Arizona, and Reid Park Zoo team will be highlighting SAFE programs (Saving Animals From Extinction) and what you can do to help preserve and protect wildlife.

One of the ways Reid Park Zoo works to protect wild animals and wild places is by supporting SAFE (Saving Animals from Extinction) programs:

  • Andean Highland Flamingo (RPZ is the program leader!)
  • Giraffe
  • North American Monarch
  • North American Songbird
  • African Lion
  • Andean Bear
  • African Wild Dog

These extended hours are included with admission, and free for Zoo Members!

Be sure to come out and visit the Zoo as it will be open for extended spring break hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 17 – 23.
