Where Learning Gets Wild!

You can explore the animal world at the Zoo with your “little critter” through activities based on Arizona’s Early Learning Standards to develop motor, social, and cognitive skills. Each program includes animal ambassador encounters, crafts, and more!  Advance registration is required.

This Month’s Topic: Holiday Treat

The holidays are here, and we want to celebrate with you!

Warm up in the Zoo’s Conservation Learning Center while helping make holiday enrichment that the animal care team will give to the animals at Reid Park Zoo later. Enjoy an up-close visit from some of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors as you learn how the Zoo uses all kinds of treats—including the ones you will make—to help keep our animals healthy. Advance registration is required.

Age:
Designed for children ages 2-5 years
(One adult chaperone is required and is included in the program price. Class size is limited, only 2 adults per child may attend this program.)

Price:
$12 for Zoo Member children (discount shown in cart after log in)
$20 for Non-Member children

When:
9:00-10:00 am (dates vary by month, additional times may be added as programs fill; check schedule below)

Our activities often encourage creativity, which for little ones can usually mean getting messy. To foster your Little Critter’s creativity, please have your participant wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
