Fit Fest 2015

BC Dance is hosting Fit Fest benefiting Reid Park Zoo.  The money raised will help build a new habitat for the gibbon family:  Billy, Moms and Lilith.  This multi-dimensional fitness event will feature something for every age and fitness level.

Licensed and certified fitness instructors from all over the state will donate their time and expertise to lead this fitness party located at the Zoo.  You can expect low and high impact movements to fast and slow rhythms.  Several fitness formats will be represented including Jazzercise, PiYo®, Boot Camp, Turbo Kick®, Hip Hop Cardio, Insanity®, Zumba®, Yoga and MMLE DocWalk.

The Zoo’s Cafe will be open plus they will have healthy snacks for sale (granola bars, energy balls, fruit skewers, turkey wraps).  A cash bar serving beer, wine and margaritas will be open along with complimentary water stations.

Presale tickets to Fit Fest 2015 are available for $15 at http://reidparkfitfest.bpt.me and at the Reid Park Zoological Society office (located at 1030 S. Randolph Way).  Day-of-event tickets will be sold at the door for $25.  Children’s tickets are $10 (5-13 years old); under 5 are free.

In conjunction with Fit Fest, Aveda at La Encantada is offering a customized botanical mini-facial for a $20 minimum donation and a professional haircut and style with a $25 minimum donation benefiting the new gibbon habitat.  Call to schedule your appointment for February 13th, 14th and 15th – just in time for Valentine’s Day – (520) 232-9435.
