Employee Wellness Day: Zoo Closed

Reid Park Zoo will be closed to the public on Tuesday, August 16 for an Employee Wellness Day. The Zoo will reopen the following day for regular hours.

During this closure, the Zoo’s employees will have a chance to ride the carousel, feed the giraffe herd, take behind-the-scenes tours, participate in many other activities or simply enjoy a leisurely day on Zoo grounds. Our team works hard every day to provide amazing experiences for our guests. This is their day to enjoy the Zoo!

Reid Park Zoo’s animals will still experience the same quality care, nutritious meals, and engaging enrichment they are accustomed to receiving. Reid Park Zoo will reopen to the public with normal hours (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.) on Wednesday, August 17.
