Ways to Give
Help us help the Zoo
Each gift to Reid Park Zoological Society helps Reid Park Zoo protect wildlife, educate hundreds of thousands of children, and provide a beautiful Zoo for you and your community to enjoy. Your gifts are 100% tax deductible, and you can financially support the Zoo in many ways. Please call us at 520-837-8127 to discuss opportunities for supporting your Zoo.
Become a “Parent” to Your Favorite Zoo Animal. It’s easy, fun and, most importantly, your “adoption” fee supports the Zoo. Anyone can become a Reid Park Zoo Parent—individuals, families, school groups or classes, service organizations, businesses, or groups of employees.
You may make a one time or annual contribution for Reid Park Zoo. Your gift to the general fund helps enhance the value of Reid Park Zoo through a variety of education programs, special events, animal enrichment, and conservation programs. Your designated gifts can be tailored to support the area of the Zoo that you are most passionate about. Donate today! If you donate at the $300 level or more, you join our Annual Giving circle, ZooFriendz. Find our more about ZooFriendZ.
Capital Campaign Gift
A comprehensive campaign is underway to finish funding the next phase of the Zoo’s Master Plan. The current funding for the Capital Campaign will help build Expedition Tanzania. This expansion of the Africa area of the Zoo will provide additional space for African species, including a developed barn and 3 acre exhibit for African elephants. Learn more about our Capital Campaign.
If you are an employee of a federal, state, county or city government agency, you can designate the Reid Park Zoological Society as the beneficiary of your workplace giving campaign. Your donations will enable the Society to fund Reid Park Zoo’s education programs to 50,000 school children and over 550,000 visitors each year, capital projects such as Expedition Tanzania and Grizzly Bear Crossing, habitat improvements and conservation efforts..
Enrollment in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), City ECAP, Pima County ECAP and SECC begin in September of each year. Learn more about employee giving.
A gift in honor or memory of a friend, family member or beloved pet is a wonderful way to remember them while recognizing their passion for Reid Park Zoo. You can make a tribute gift on-line now, or call 520-837-8127.
We are also always willing to work with you to create a custom opportunity to recognize your loved one through sculpture, zoo exhibits, or other naming opportunities.
The majority of planned gifts are made in bequests (including the Zoo in your will or trust). Bequests ensure that future generations will have the opportunity to love Reid Park Zoo as much as you do. Find out more about directing a portion of your estate to Reid Park Zoological Society.
