Education Staff scheduling is powered by ShiftPlanning – Employee Scheduling Software.
Opportunities for Teachers
Looking for a laboratory where students can explore concepts introduced in the classroom? Bring your class to the zoo for an adventure they won’t forget! We offer zoo staff guided programs and materials to assist you on a self- guided journey through the Zoo. We also work closely with teachers to offer student experience aligned with national state and state education standards as well as local learning benchmarks. Click here to find out about scheduling a field trip–self-guided or educator-led, for your students. We also offer periodic professional development opportunities for educators.
Can’t come to us? We’ll come to you! Our outreach programs feature live animals, and your choice of topics. We travel to schools, libraries, and other indoor common areas (sorry, no private homes). Click here to learn more about the program, and to submit a request form.
