Sing for our love of nature that binds us together

Join Reid Park Zoo at Crowder Hall on the University of Arizona campus in collaboration with the University Community Chorus for an evening of music, memory, and meaning. This interdisciplinary concert explores themes of journey, identity, and compassion — honoring the stories we hold and the paths that shape us. The concert will feature the premiere of a new work by composer Patrick Chiu, created in celebration of Reid Park Zoo’s Pathway to Asia expansion opening in late 2026.

Lobby opens at 6:30 p.m. so be sure to stop by Reid Park Zoo’s table early to meet our team. Be sure to catch the University Singers as they perform their “Animal Tracks: A Musical Zoo Tour” concert in celebration of Party for the Planet held at Reid Park Zoo on Saturday, April 18. Starting at 9:30 a.m. meet at the African Wild Dog habitat for an Animal Chat by a Zoo Educator and a song by the University Singers. Follow the moving concert throughout the Zoo in complement with the Zoo’s Animal Chat schedule. See the Party for the Planet event for more details.

Reid Park Zoo is excited to partner with the University of Arizona’s Choral department on these exciting events that utilize music as a connector and inspire conservation of wild animals and wild places.
