Military Appreciation Day

Reid Park Zoo is thanking our military for their service to our country and community.

Join us for Military Appreciation Day on Friday, February 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Active military and retired veterans who present a valid military I.D. will receive free daytime admission. Up to 4 members of their family will receive a $1 discount off daytime admission. This offer is not valid with any other offers or discounts.

There will be lots of patriotic fun inside the Zoo as well: Come enjoy the Navy Brass Band of the Southwest who will be performing from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., meet the Navy bomb disposal experts and watch demonstrations of their robots, and listen to sailors from the USS Constitution talk about Navy history in their historical Navy uniforms. Bring your troop, your herd, or your pride to meet ours and help share appreciation for those who serve.
