9:00 am — 10:00 am

Where Learning Gets Wild!

You can explore the animal world at the Zoo with your “little critter” through activities based on Arizona’s Early Learning Standards to develop motor, social, and cognitive skills. Each program includes animal ambassador encounters, crafts, and more!  Advance registration is required.

Soft or rough? Smooth or bumpy? Dry or wet?

This Little Critters is all about exploring different types of animal textures and why animals have fur, feathers, skin, or scales. Up close encounters with animal ambassadors will let your little one safely explore different textures in the animal world.

Designed for children ages 3-5 years
(One adult chaperone is required and is included in the program price. Class size is limited, only 2 adults per child may attend this program.)

$12 for Zoo Member children (discount shown in cart after log in)
$20 for Non-Member children

9:00-10:00 am (dates vary by month, additional times may be added as programs fill)

Our activities often encourage creativity, which for little ones can usually mean getting messy. To foster your Little Critter’s creativity, please have your participant wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
