Little Critters Workshop: Animal Shapes
Thu, Sep 18 @ 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Where Learning Gets Wild!
These interactive programs encourage families to learn about the animal world together. Each program features a different animal theme and includes animal ambassador encounters, movement-based activities, and a simple craft. The activities are based on Arizona’s Early Learning Standards to develop motor, social, and cognitive skills. Advance Registration Required.
This Month’s Topic: Animal Shapes
What shapes do giraffes have on their long necks and big bodies? What shapes do you see on tortoise shells? Have fun identifying basic shapes on animals with your child as an educator leads you through the zoo! We’ll get creative and use familiar shapes to participate in exciting activities and introduce LIVE animal ambassadors to teach you how their shapes help them survive.
