We invite you to join us on March 29 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm for a special presentation from Dr. Charles Foley to learn how support from Reid Park Zoo has helped advance elephant conservation in Tanzania.

Dr. Charles Foley, Senior Conservation Scientist for Lincoln Park Zoo’s Tanzania Conservation Research Program, has worked in Tanzania for the last 25 years, studying the elephants living in and around Tarangire National Park and working to conserve wildlife migratory corridors outside Tarangire National Park. By partnering with local communities and the Tanzanian government, his work has kept key migration coordinators for elephants and other large mammals free from cultivation.

Reid Park Zoo has supported Dr. Foley’s work in Tanzania since 2007.
