We love libraries! Pima County Library has compiled an incredible list of relevant books and resources to maximize your LEGO® fun. Hey, did you know that library cardholders can check out a Culture Pass to come to the Zoo and see Nature POP for free?
Tucson Parks and Recreation
Children ages 5-11 can build, create and explore at Tucson Parks and Recreation’s free LEGO® build events featuring hands-on activities inspired by nature and animals. Adult supervision is required. The events will take place Friday, Feb. 27, from 6-8 p.m. at Donna Liggins Center, 2160 N. Sixth Ave., and Saturday, Feb. 28, from 1-3 p.m. at Morris K. Udall Center, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road. Additional LEGO® activities will be available at Reid Park Zoo’s Bricks & Builders Nights, coinciding with the Zoo’s limited-time LEGO Brick Exhibit running through-May 12. The exhibit features more than 40 larger-than-life sculptures made from more than 800,000 bricks. The Saturday, March 14, and Saturday, March 21, events run from 5-8:30 p.m. and require Zoo admission.
