Winter Camp 2026
Reid Park Zoo is offering three-day winter camp sessions for students in grades 1-2 and grades 3-5. This three-day program will include animal ambassador encounters, behind-the-scenes opportunities, and hands-on activities.
2026 Topic: Sleep, Stay, or Fly Away
During the winter season, wild animals either sleep, stay, or fly away! In this three-day camp at Reid Park Zoo, your camper will explore winter animal survival strategies, including hibernation, physical and behavioral changes, and migration. Through engaging activities and behind-the-scenes experiences, campers will learn how wild animals overcome winter’s challenges and how the Zoo cares for animals throughout the chilly season.
Camp hours are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
ADVANCE REGISTRATION WILL BE REQUIRED. Registration links are listed below. Please carefully check the grade level for each camp. Please note that camp for each grade level will offer the same activities each week. For this reason, you may sign your camper up for only ONE session of camp.
