Virtual Mother’s Day Brunch with the Elephants

We’re putting trunks up in this salute to moms, human, and elephant! Treat mom to your own brunch at home and tune in for some live views of Reid Park Zoo’s beloved elephant herd, including our elephant matriarch Semba and her babies little Mapenzi and five-year-old Nandi.

See how our elephant care team provides enrichment for the elephants, learn about some pampering for Semba, and see some behind-the-scenes stories of how Reid Park Zoo keeps our elephants thriving. During the program, you’ll see new footage of Mapenzi and her family, ask questions about the whole herd, and more! Registration is limited and is required. Registrants are also invited to enter into a drawing for a gift basket filled with pampering products for Mom!

This event is FREE.  Donations are greatly appreciated and will help the Zoo with the care, feeding and enrichment of our elephants during this unprecedented time when the Zoo is closed and not receiving any admission or program revenue. Thank you for your support of Reid Park Zoo!
