Smash Bash 2019

Join us for a smashing good time!

The animal care staff provide enrichment every day to keep the animals mentally and physically strong – and Smash Bash gives guests a special opportunity to watch the animals as they squash, crush, and eat pumpkin-themed enrichment as well as engage with staff during Keeper Chats and presentations. This event is free with Zoo admission.

Smash Bash Schedule:
9:15 a.m. – otters
9:30 a.m. – elephants
10 a.m. – Andean bears
10:30 a.m. – Grizzly bears
11 a.m. – Baird’s tapirs
11:30 a.m. – goats
Noon – Aldabra tortoises

Please note: Schedule is subject to change at any time. Please check the activity board located at the front plaza when you visit. Other Zoo animals not listed in the schedule will receive enrichment throughout the day as well.
