National Get Outdoors Day

Sunday, June 11, 2017
8:30 am — 11:30 am

National Get Outdoors Day is an annual event encouraging healthy, active outdoor fun – and what better way to celebrate than outdoors at the Zoo! We’re so excited today (and every day!) to reconnect our guests to the great outdoors.

The event will feature:

    • Bubblicious fun provided by Children’s Museum Tucson! Near the conservation learning center, kids can make their own bubbles, and more!
    • Camp Grizzly! Camp will be set up at 8:45 a.m. and your Grizzly Bears at Reid Park Zoo will explore camp at 9 a.m. While the bear enjoy their Grizzly Camp enrichment, kids and families can discover how to camp safely in bear country.
    • Bird’s the Word! Join your Reid Park Zoo animal experts in the Aviary. Binoculars will be provided so guests can engage in bird viewing on Zoo grounds, and take tips from the Zoo back outside!

Activities are free with regular Zoo admission.
