Where Learning Gets Wild! 

You can explore the animal world at the Zoo with your “little critter” through activities based on Arizona’s Early Learning Standards to develop motor, social, and cognitive skills. Each program includes animal ambassador encounters, crafts, and more!  Advance registration is required. 

This Month’s Topic: Patterns in Nature

Whether it’s swirls on a snail’s shell, hexagons in a honeycomb, or stripes on a zebra’s coat, patterns can be found everywhere in the natural world! Little critters will discover patterns in plant and animal communities through sensory exploration and animal encounters.

Age:
Designed for children ages 3-5 years
(One adult chaperone is required and is included in the program price. Class size is limited, only 2 adults per child may attend this program.)

Price: 
$12 for Zoo Member children (discount shown in cart after log in)
$20 for Non-Member children

When:
9:00-10:00 am (dates vary by month, additional times may be added as programs fill)

Our activities often encourage creativity, which for little ones can usually mean getting messy. To foster your Little Critter’s creativity, please have your participant wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
