Where Learning Gets Wild! 

These interactive programs encourage families to learn about the animal world together. Each program features a different animal theme and includes animal ambassador encounters, movement-based activities, and a simple craft. The activities are based on Arizona’s Early Learning Standards to develop motor, social, and cognitive skills. Advance Registration Required.

This Month’s Topic: Backyard Wildlife

You can make amazing connections with wildlife at the Zoo, but do you know what types of animals might be in your own backyard or neighborhood? In this Little Critters, we will explore animals close to home and how they compare to the Zoo’s residents. Your little critter will leave eager to explore the natural world around them every day!

Age:
Designed for children ages 3-5 years
(One adult chaperone is required and is included in the program price. Class size is limited, only 2 adults per child may attend this program. Extra adults will need to pay regular zoo admission.)

Price: 
$12 for Zoo Member children (discount shown in cart after log in)
$20 for Non-Member children

Our activities often encourage creativity, which for little ones can usually mean getting messy. To foster your Little Critter’s creativity, please have your participant wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
