Where Learning Gets Wild! 

These interactive programs encourage families to learn about the animal world together. Each program features a different animal theme and includes animal ambassador encounters, movement-based activities, and a simple craft. The activities are based on Arizona’s Early Learning Standards to develop motor, social, and cognitive skills. Advance Registration Required for this 60 minute program.

This Month’s Topic: Brilliant Bugs

Buzz on over to join Reid Park Zoo and Pima County Environmental Educators for a morning of bug-themed fun! Enjoy a guided walk through the Zoo while we look for critters of all kinds. Stop in the classroom for exciting crafts and activities. Finally, learn more about insects through close-up encounters with animal ambassadors.

Designed for children ages 3-5 years
(One adult chaperone is required and is included in the program price. Class size is limited, only 1 adult per child may attend this program.)

Our activities often encourage creativity, which for little ones can usually mean getting messy. To foster your Little Critter’s creativity, please have your participant wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
