Easter Weekend, hop over to Reid Park Zoo for an ‘eggstra’ special morning of festivities. Hunt for eggs, enjoy a delicious breakfast and meet the Easter Bunny at Reid Park Zoo’s Easter ExtravaganZOO! 

The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with an Easter egg hunt throughout portions of the Zoo. Bring your Easter basket or bucket to collect eggs, there is an age specific zone for joyful hunting for all.  Eggs will be turned in for a treat bag. There will be special prizes for lucky children who find the golden eggs!

At 7:45 a.m. guests will enjoy breakfast in our Event Garden and meet the Easter Bunny. After breakfast, stay and visit the Zoo – many of the animals will get Easter enrichment throughout the morning. Watch as the Zoo animals enjoy their Easter treats!

Adopt an Animal with Your Ticket Reservation

Add on a symbolic adoption of the Zoo’s rhinos, lions, elephants, or wild dogs to your Easter bundle! This add-on includes a certificate of adoption, an information page about your animal, a thank you letter, and a plush of your animal to take home from Easter ExtravaganZOO! Reserve your Adopt an Animal package by April 13th. Available while supplies last.

Check in will begin at 7 a.m. with gates opening promptly at 7:30 a.m.  Please print your tickets and bring with you or have your tickets visible on your phone.

• Hashbrown Casserole (shredded potatoes, cheddar cheese, sour cream & sweet onion)
• Sliced Fruit Display (melons, berries, pineapple & grapes)

• Cash bar featuring Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s for the adults
