Elephant Calf Breakfast & Talk – Sold out

Join us for breakfast with the elephant calf on October 2, 2014 at 7:30am in Expedition Tanzania. Check in will begin at 7:15am at the Zoo’s main entrance.

Enjoy a scrumptious start to your day with a delicious breakfast; then learn about the calf and her birth first-hand from the staff members who know her best. They will share stories and updates as well as offer tours of the Elephant Care Center.

Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit Reid Park Zoo’s education programs, capital projects, and conservation efforts. A portion of your ticket price will be tax deductible.  The program, hosted by the Zoological Society, has limited seating, and reservations must be made in advance by clicking “tickets” below or calling 881-4753.

$50 per person

$30 per child (ages 2-12)

$100 per person – includes an Adopt-an-Elephant package (includes adoption certificate, fact sheet, name on Zoo elephant webpage and plush animal)

$90 per person – includes a Reid Park Zoo’s “Be Kind to Elephants” Ben’s Bell

$140 per person – includes an Adopt-an-Elephant package and Be Kind to Elephants Ben’s Bell

**Zoo staff may adjust the schedule as needed due to weather or animal health concerns. For best viewing, attending an event is recommended but view is not guaranteed.
