Help Bring ‘Holly Jolly’ Enrichment Gifts to the Animals
In preparation for the tigers, gibbons, red pandas, and other species that will be coming to Reid Park Zoo this year, we have updated the Animal Wish List for the Pathway to Asia animals.
Each item on our wish lists includes information about which animals your gift would benefit and why that particular enrichment item is a great fit for their species. Surprisingly, heavy duty carabiner clips come in handy when hanging puzzle feeders for strong apes, like gibbons. Canned goats milk might seem unusual, but tigers gravitate towards this novel taste. Slow feeders, or bowls with a maze-like pattern, help improve the digestion for red pandas.
