World Otter Day

Today is World Otter Day!

We are celebrating our Zoo’s two African spotted-necked otters (Hasani and Pfeifer) and their wild otter cousins!

Otters rely on clean water to fish in, using their great underwater vision. Remember that our actions are all connected — what we do on land, can so often end up polluting waterways. To celebrate otters let’s keep our waterways clean by not littering and by disposing of oil and other waste properly.
