It’s time for another Wellness Wednesday! This week we are sharing some enrichment given to our grizzly bear, Finley. One important aspect of animal health is having the opportunity to use all of their senses and specialized adaptations. This toy was filled with nuts and attached to a heavy log. Finley had to use her strong sense of smell to locate the toy, and then use her dexterous paws, claws, and tongue to fish the nuts out of the device. Great job, Finley!
