Tucson’s Favorite Holiday Tradition is Lighting Up the Sky

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Zoo Lights presented by Tucson Electric Power will light up the sky for the Tucson community beginning Thursday, December 6, 2018, and every evening thereafter through December 23, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. The lights will continue to glow from December 26-30, 2018 for Encore Nights.

Tucson’s favorite holiday tradition that benefits Reid Park Zoo, Zoo Lights presented by Tucson Electric Power will illuminate the beautiful Zoo grounds with thousands of lights and over 40 animal lighted displays. This family-friendly event transforms Reid Park Zoo into a twinkling winter wonderland for 4 weeks complete with visits from Santa, falling snow, carolers and joyous music, s’more stations, hot chocolate (with or without spirits!), and an endless supply of holiday cheer. Zoo Lights is also sponsored by Metro by T-mobile, Southwest Gas, First Watch and Stetson Painting.

In addition to the twinkling light displays, guests will be able to meet some of their favorite characters during the NEW theme nights: Superheroes Night (Dec. 7), Princess Night (Dec. 8), Frozen Night (Dec. 16), and Star Wars (Dec. 21).
