Treats in high places
Stretching is good for people and elephants! Keepers encourage Connie, the Reid Park Zoo’s Asian elephant, to perform this natural behavior by hanging an irresistable food “puzzle” high in the air.
Starting Monday, April 15, the old Zoo parking lot will close as we make way for construction of Pathway to Asia. The new parking lot is located North of the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center (ARC) and Reid Park Zoo.
