Summer Camp Scholarships Now Available

40 KIDS WILL RECEIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ATTEND SUMMER CAMP AT REID PARK ZOO!

For the last several decades, Reid Park Zoo has offered a variety of action-packed summer day camps to greater Tucson. Games, crafts, animal ambassador encounters, and behind-the-scenes opportunities–make this camp unlike any other.

Reid Park Zoo is able to offer financial assistance for 40 children, entering grades 1-6, to attend Summer Camp at the Zoo thanks to a scholarship fund created by a generous donor. Summer camp participants will see first hand how the Zoo’s Animal Care staff use STEM every day to care for the animals and why saving wild places and wildlife is so important.

“We are thrilled to be offering this opportunity to the community for the second year,” said Jennifer Stoddard, Education Supervisor at Reid Park Zoo. “This scholarship fund has allowed us to better serve our community and provide an unforgettable experience to those who may not have been able to otherwise.”

Unfortunately the scholarship application deadline has passed. For more information about the Zoo’s Summer Camps visit the Event Page.
