Free Zoo Admission for Military!
In honor of the Fourth of July holiday, all active and retired military can take advantage of FREE admission to the Zoo with proof of military ID on Wednesday, July 4th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and during Summer Safari Nights on Friday, July 6th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Reid Park Zoo invites families and friends to come out and join in all the fun the Zoo has to offer during this Fourth of July holiday.

The Zoo will have a variety of watermelon enrichment for the animals to enjoy from 8:30 am-11:30 am, watermelon Eegees and treats to help guests stay cool and keeper chats for all to enjoy. While guests are here, they can feed the giraffes on the newly renovated Giraffe Platform, take a ride on the Zoo train, or go for a spin on the Cox Wildlife Carousel!
Summer Safari Nights presented by MetroPCS
Friday, July 6th, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm
Guests can explore their wild side during the cooler evening temperatures at the Zoo with live music, delicious food from the Zoofari Market and more! New this Friday, families can get up-close to one of the Zoo’s favorite animals as they brush the goats on the platform located across from the meerkats! If you join or renew at the gate and bring valid ID for active or retired military or call our Membership office (and provide a scan of a valid ID), Reid Park Zoo will offer 20% off the base price of any 1-year membership level.
