Pumpkin Bash on 10/31/10
On Halloween 2010, the animal residents of Reid Park Zoo will receive special pumpkin treats! A schedule will be posted at the front gate for guests. The polar bears may dunk them, elephants will smash them, lions might attack them, and many others will have the opportunity to enjoy the unusual surprise. Staff will be on hand to answer questions as animals discover the new items.
Guests are invited to wear a costume if they want and can even pick up a treat for themselves at the front gate. Pumpkins will be delivered to animals from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
