Giraffe Barn Construction begins August 5th
On Monday, August 5th, construction will start on a giraffe barn upgrade–we’re adding a structure that will allow the giraffes to be safely and comfortably contained during medical procedures. During construction, walkways near the barn may be blocked for short periods, but giraffes will be on exhibit most of the day (they will retire to their barn in the mid-afternoon) and Giraffe Encounters should take place as scheduled.
