Experience the Fun at Your Zoo with FREE Daily Activities

Start Planning Your Next Visit!

With the temperatures finally cooling down in southern Arizona, we cannot think of a better place to spend the day than at Reid Park Zoo.

Beginning November 1, your trip to the Zoo will be enhanced with daily keeper chats and animal presentations seven days a week. The best part, they will all be included with general Zoo admission!

Not only are keeper chats and animal presentations a fun way to learn about wildlife, but they are also an important part of Reid Park Zoo’s conservation mission of saving wild animals and wild places by providing experiences like these for visitors of all ages.

Have you ever wondered how much an elephant weighs? Or how long an American alligator can stay under the water? Check out our rotating keeper chats at 11:00 a.m. to learn fun facts about some of your favorite animals.

Have you ever wondered what a blue-tongued skink feels like? Or have you ever wondered why a tamandua has a distinct smell? Learn more about these animals and their cool adaptations during our animal presentations in the front plaza at 9:45 a.m. or in the Conservation Learning Center at 2:00 p.m.
