The old Zoo parking lot is closed permanently as we make way for construction of Pathway to Asia. The new parking lot is located North of the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center (ARC) and Reid Park Zoo.

Construction on Expedition Tanzania has begun

The construction fence is up, and demolition work has begun on the Zoo’s new elephant exhibit! This project has been in the planning stages for some time, so it’s really exciting to see it finally getting underway. We’ll update our website with photos of the construction so you can see Expedition Tanzania taking shape. Check back here often for the latest news!
