Baby Anteater Born 9-27-12

Another baby at the Zoo! Giant anteater “Zoe” gave birth during the early morning of September 27th. The first time mom and baby (sex unknown) both seem to be doing well so far. Zoe is choosing to be on exhibit, so the area has been blocked off to give them quiet time as they figure things out. If visiting the Zoo, please help us out by staying behind barriers and by keeping noise to a minimum in this area.
