Asian Lantern Festival Entertainment Schedule

The Asian Lantern Festival is back and ready to dazzle Tucson with hundreds of colorful, colossal lanterns — but did you know there’s more to the festival than the lights? Each night in the Zoo’s Event Garden, performers will light up the stage with incredible acrobatics, a thrilling lion dance, and rhythmic drum performances PLUS will feature delicious Asian-inspired food, thematic crafts, and a fun tiger conservation project.

Each night of the festival, Tianyu Arts & Culture Inc. (who partnered with your Zoo to make this event a reality!) will perform a selection of their incredible dances. On any given night you might catch a Face Change (As an ancient Chinese dramatic art, where performers wear vivid masks and transform their face in an instant with just the swipe of a fan, a movement of the head, or a wave of the hand), Rolla Bolla (a balancing act where a performer stands on a precarious platform while performing other feats such as skipping or juggling), or even Hoop Diving (an acrobatic display where performers jump, dive and tumble through hoops on the ground with dynamic speed and rhythm).

You won’t want to miss the fun at the Asian Lantern Festival! Get your tickets today!
