A Tall New Arrival

Last Sunday, Keepers helped unload an 11-year-old female giraffe from a very tall trailer and into the Zoo’s giraffe barn. She came to us from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a partner AZA accredited facility. Like all other new arrivals, she’ll undergo a 30-day quarantine period and a gradual introduction to her new exhibit mates. You can expect to see her on exhibit in mid-November!
