Enter Reid Park Zoo main entrance (lecture held at Conservation Learning Center)

Meet Kartick Satyanaran, known in India as the “Bear Man.”  Kartick co-founded Wildlife SOS – known for its campaign to rescue “dancing” bears. His work with Wildlife SOS has grown beyond bears to include projects helping leopards, elephants, and reptiles.  Wildlife SOS actively works toward protecting Indian wildlife through conserving habitat, studying biodiversity, conducting research, supporting community-based conservation education, and creating alternative and sustainable livelihoods for poacher communities.

Kartick is a dynamic presenter who speaks passionately about his love for animals, and his drive to leave the environment and wildlife untouched for our future generations. He is sure to inspire Reid Park Zoo’s audience of supporters, animal advocates, and future conservationists.

$3 members, $10 for non-members.  RSVP Online, call 520-881-4753 or email acastillo@tucsonzoo.org
