The giraffes are healthy and eager for carrots, so stop by the Zoo and visit them!  The Giraffe Encounter takes place every day of the week from 10:00-10:45, and additionally on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm.

Male giraffe “Jasiri” arrived at Reid Park Zoo in October, and went out onto exhibit for the first time this morning. At 1 year and 7 months of age, Jasiri is still much smaller than our female giraffes. Welcome to Tucson, Jasiri!
