The elephants discovered their mud wallow for the first time today, and tons of fun ensued! [nggallery id=57]  

All five African elephants have arrived at Reid Park Zoo from San Diego Safari Park! Adult elephants Mabu, Samba, and Lungile; as well as 5-year-old Punga, and 1-year-old Sundzu got to explore their new exhibit for the first time today. It opens to the public on March 28, 2012. [nggallery id=56]
