Male elephant “Mabu” and female elephant “Lungile” have arrived at Reid Park Zoo! Today they tested part of their new exhibit, which is scheduled to open to the public (with a total of 5 resident elephants) very soon! Stay tuned for an announcement of the exact date. [nggallery id=56]

Female polar bear “Snow” was introduced to the big pool side of her exhibit for the first time on February 23, 2012. She bravely explored the deck, and then went for a swim. Click here to watch a video about Snow, produced for a show called “Tucson Now” on Tucson 12.
