Baby zebra makes his debut – and needs a name!
The Grevy’s zebra that was born January 30th has made his public debut. He had a rough start to life with a few health complications, but you’d never know it now. He is healthy, and very active. For now he is out on exhibit each morning but that schedule may change, so be sure to check back here before visiting if you hope to see him.
He has a protective mom and a dedicated staff of Zoo Keepers taking care of him, but he doesn’t have a name! E-mail your name suggestion to firstname.lastname@example.org by February 18. Be sure to include your suggestion, your name, e-mail, phone number, and any reason for your suggestion. If you are not an adult, include your grade level as well. The Keepers will select their favorite name from the submissions and the winner will receive a one-year membership to the Zoo and lunch for four people at the new Zoofari restaurant in the Zoo!
