The Zoo’s 11 Chilean flamingos were briefly corralled last week for routine medical procedures including weight checks, blood draws, and West Nile virus inoculations.  Keepers assisted veterinarian staff by gently holding the birds during their checkups.  Come visit the healthy and beautiful flamingos at the Zoo!  They are on exhibit each day from 9am to… read more

Sunday, February 14 was a day full of treats for Reid Park Zoo residents and visitors!

Reid Park Zoo’s teen volunteers received a Tucson Parks and Recreation Commission Award in recognition of their service to the Zoo and the community! Their award was presented by Mayor Walkup at the Mayor and Council meeting on Tuesday, February 9th.  Thanks teens, and congratulations!
